EL SIAMBÓN

Soft sierras frame this absolutely quiet area, about 6 miles (10 km) from Raco.

In El Siambón lies the monastery of Benedictine monks, totally built with local stones and wood. These monks, leading an austere life, are devoted to agriculture, stock raising and apiculture. From their apiaries they extract the delicious and already famous "El Siambón" royal jelly.
