LOS MENHIRES PARK

Bordering the La Angostura area, there is the Los Menhires or Piedras Largas (Long Stones) Park, which includes a series of stone monuments belonging to old civilizations of pre-Hispanic America.

Near the Park, the Tucumán Tourist Department built the "Juan B. Ambrosetti" Archaeological Museum, where there is an exhibition of chronological data on menhires, which where scientifically studied several decades ago.
