ESCABA DAM

It is 80 miles (128 km) from San Miguel de Tucumán and 2,296 ft. (700 m) above sea level. Here you can appreciate a phenomenon of extraordinary beauty, cerros and quebradas covered with vegetation fall steeply on the water; to this you have to add the changing shades of the landscape that can be seen as light fades.

The dam is visited all year round owing to the attractions offered for the practice of sports. Among them, the fishing of atherine has given rise to the development of interprovincial competitions.
