Casa de Gobierno (Government House)

In the site currently occupied by the Government House, opposite Plaza Independencia, was the old Cabildo which was pulled down in 1909 in order to put up the French style building with three domes, a large one in the center and two smaller ones on the sides, which is now the Government House.

It was inaugurated in 1910 by President Roque Sáenz Peña and Governor Dr. José Frías Silva.
