Iglesia de San Francisco (Saint Francis Church).

Through an initiative of guardian father Fra Miguel García, the current Church of Saint Francis was built between 1879 and 1885. In 1925, its interior was completely redecorated with the painting preserved until today.

Although the building occupies a corner, the entrance to the temple is on one of the side streets of the square. The facade is organized following the pattern of three streets with arches (reflecting its inner structure), the central is emphasized by columns matched with Corinthian capitals. It has three stories, the second and the last (corresponding to the belfry) being linked by soft volutes which overcome the height difference between the central and the side naves.
